"Charity begins at home" first things first, then onward, you can't give something away you do not have.
When some one reaches out for help , yes.
But U.S.A. cannot save the world!!!! Look where that excuse has got us!!! It is really a differcult answer to come to. Due to the corruption of various nations leaders, Liken to the U.N.
scandel food for children? was it? It is alarming, countries
such as Mexico, Darfur, etc. do not care to care for their own people. Where is their charity? I don't have the answers, Ex
cept the reason Corruption, Power and greed.

You really are a complete idiot, aren't you? Republicans donate to charity at a MUCH higher rate than liberals, you tool. You're only generous with MY money.

But yes, we *do* have a moral responsibility to help other people. I need to get back into volunteering....(took a year off and I miss it).

Morality aside, a species can only survive when they work cohesively.

Taking that idea and applying it to an intellectual species it stands to reason that moral responsibility would be imperative to over all survival, so yes we do have a responsibility to our brethren.

If they want to believe all the poor are scum of the earth, to avoid doing anything other than spewing middle class morality tales...or too convieniently terrorise themselves into not giving a crap...they will (and regularly do)

Unless i am Hindu / New Age ; where it would be trying to prolong their suffering for the bad karma from prior life. Therefore it would be wrong to help them.

Unless I am a humanist or believe in evolution; where why would i help the weaker survive?
