Well, considering you catch it at lvl 40 if i'm not mistaken, i think it does lvl more slowly if you only train in the wild. Trainers are the best exp. All in all, it depends cuz my latias lvled very slowly...considering i only trained in the wild.

Not really, at least it gains the same amount of exp as other pokemon. I'm not sure about the required expiernce numbers per level though.

yes it does it needs 1,250,000 exp to get to level one hundred
