If you have a 28 regular period (which most women don't...) however, it gives you a good idea...

Begin counting the day of your last period - between days 12 -17 you are most likely to ovulate and conceive!

Therefore, if your last period started on the 31st of July... you should ovulate between - August 11 - 16th!

GOOD LUCK!

Are your periods like clock work? or are they erratic? Do you know when you are ovulating? You can check your cervical mucous ( eggwhite consistency means that ovulation is happening/coming very soon), and cervical position ( High, medium, low, hard, soft, open) . It is best that you have sex as near this time as possible. the ovulation prediction kit can help as well. Your egg will survive for approx 24 hours while healthy sperm can survive for 3-5 days. This is why timing is everything ! It makes you amazed at how baby's are even convieved!! try to relax and have fun! I personally tried and tried and when I started thinking about my trip to Jamaica I and actually went, I came back pregnant! I can't tell you how important it is not to get toooo stressed about all of this. I f you are younger than 35 it is fine to ttc for 12 months prior to even thinking that there may be any fertility issues. A HPt should return a + result 10-12 days post ovulation if conception occured. GOOD LUCK and lots of baby dust to ya!

Just go on ebay and get some ovulation test strips, you can pee on one every day of a couple cycles and get an idea of when YOUR day of ovulation is.

its the simplest thing to do.
