Excalibur is the mythical sword of King Arthur, sometimes attributed with magical powers or associated with the rightful sovereignty of Great Britain. Sometimes Excalibur and the Sword in the Stone (the proof of Arthur's lineage) are said to be the same weapon, but in most versions they are considered separate. The sword was associated with the Arthurian legend very early. In Welsh, the sword is called Caledfwlch.

Excalibur or Caliburn was a sword that was wielded by King Arthur ( Iron bear) of the welsh speaking Britons a warlord son of Uther the Pen Dragon ( Head Dragon) believed to be given by a white witch or shaman the Lady of the Lake. King Arthur was not King of England he was a Briton and fought the Saxons he would of spoken a form of Welsh the Normans and English romantics created a new Arthur to suit there own ends. Sadly history has been distorted in Britain especially early history places like early churches in Wales have been misdated and welsh manuscripts have been ignored or mistranslated the evidence for Arthur is in South Wales and scattered over the United Kingdom .

Excalibur, in Arthurian legend, sword given to King Arthur by the Lady of the Lake. At Arthur's death Sir Bedivere threw Excalibur into the lake; a hand rose from the water, caught the sword, and disappeared. Another sword, sometimes mistakenly identified with Excalibur, was drawn from a stone by Arthur to prove his royalty.
hope this would help you,
thanks!

Excalibur was the sword gifted to Arthur by the Lady of the Lake, according to Thomas Mallory's Le Mort de Arthur. However, as Excalibur is a corruption of the Latin phrase Ex Chalce Libre-"to liberate from stone", it may have been the fabled Sword in the Stone, and the Lady of the Lake's gifting merely corroborating what Arthur had proved by drawing it forth from the stone-that Arthur, as bearer of Excalibur, was rightful King of England

It was a magic sword that was unbreakable, and its scabbard kept anyone who wore it from bleedin to death. Nyneve the Lady of the Lake gave it to King Arthur to use. She told him to return it to her when he no longer needed it. Years later, Arthur and his incestuous son Modred fatlly wounded each other. Bedivere threw Excalibur into the Lake of Nyneve as Arthur ordered after disobeying twice. Three sorceresses came to take Arthur to Avalon to try to heal his wound. Some accounts say Excalibur was also the Sword in the Stone that only the rightful King of Britain could withdraw. Arthur did it when he was a teenager. Arthur broke his word in a duel with Pellinore, so he was given Excalibur to replace it. Thus we see that both swords could not be Excalibur.

It is Identified as the sword of King Arthur, this thermoelectric tool was capable of scoring through stone by using a thermit-like substance (Staurolite stone crystals) and a parabolic lens of Platinum. Together with his mentor Merlin, King Arthur discovered a way to "pull the energy of a sword out of a stone" - and therefore became the rulers of the British Kingdom long ago.

In real life a barbaran warror named Arthor existed but he didn't rule over all of Britain.

A thick book called British Kings and Queens of England. Gives facts not myths. So the magical sword never existed ether.
