What is the average percentage increase for an annual pay raise?

I work as a receptionist at a dealership. How can I prove that I deserve this raise. Thanks.

i would say between 2.5 and 3.5 percent -- you have to sale your self just like he sales his cars -- what have you done over the past year that has improved your worth to the company and increased his bottom line!!!

2-3%. you can't really "prove" you deserve the raise, just state your opinion that you've worked for it. your boss probably already has his/her mind made up as to what you are getting.
