The sirens were creatures who were half bird and half women and were later sometimes depicted as creatures with a mermaids tail, wings, and the upper body of a woman.
They are 3 entities who appear in the epic Greco-Roman story the Odyssey. They lived on Rocky Isles off the coast of Sicily and mesmerized men with the enchanting songs such that the men went into a stupor that they never recovered from and died. It was said that when a ship of men passed by who were impervious to the sirens's songs, the sirens would have to kill themselves. Odysseus and his men sailed by. The men stopped their ears with wax and tied Odysseus to a mast so that he could hear the song but not go to the sirens. The ship safely passed the sirens. They then jumped of cliffs and drowned in the sea. They went to the Netherworld where their new passtime was to wail for the dead.
The myth might have explained why sailors died at sea. Siren and mermaid lore is similar. Mermaids were said to sing to shipwrecked men while they died.
Esoterically and archetipically mythological female sea creatures might represent spirits who lead the dead to the afterlife and who also impart knowledge to them that is taboo to know during life.

Yes!!
There is this thing called, "Abere".
Quoting my book:
"The Abere is a particularly vicious mermaid species from Melanesian legend. This monster has the typical mermaid's anatomy: the lower half of a fish, the upper half of a well-endowed woman with long golden hair; and it has a siren voice that can lure men right out of their boats. Once the men are in the water, the Abere drags them into the reeds and either drowns them in the shallows, or slashes their throats with a sharp piece of oyster shell. She then feeds on the hot spewing blood, and then shares the flesh with her offspring, whom are all female, How- or with whom- the Abere mates in order to procreate is a matter of unsavory speculation".

Yes, there are plenty out there, but it has nothing to do with magic, lol. There are women with voices who can enchant just about any man out there, just like there are men who can enchant almost any woman with their voices. Its just the way it is, and those people are blessed with beautiful voices. But real Sirens? Nope, just ancient fiction, lol.

If you have heard the song by This Mortal Coil called Song to the Siren you will hear vocals by Liz Guthrie that are almost hypnotising. I recommend it.

Its mythology, and mermaids.
Why can't women have this? Or do they, what are they called?
Mine is Sully Erna. I don't care if there are men sirens in mythology, he's mine anyways. His voice, lyrics (he writes most), his tune playing enchants me easily.

been watch to many soap operas, haven't you? Sirens were sometimes also depicted as beautiful women (whose bodies, not only their voices, are seductive), or even as mermaids (half woman, half fish).

Not in real life, but it is a Greek myth that warns sailors of them, because most sailors at the time were men.
