I went to Beckett.com. The card you have is a 1987 Topps number 200 Pete Rose. The card is not worth much because Topps over produced there cards in 1987. It is only worth $0.60. If you have any other question about cards. There is a magazine called Beckett. You can buy them at any store that sells magazines. It is easy to use and you can find out the price for a lot of cards.

There are two significant sites.

Beckett.com is the publisher of the leading industry price guide, but (a) it's not free and (b) the valuations it provides are merchant-market prices -- what one might expect to pay if buying from a dealer, not what one might recapture if selling. Has the advantage of being a defensible reference for insurance, tax, or other legal purpose.

eBay.com -- real-market prices on closed auctions are much more informative.

Your Rose card is worth about a dollar, maybe two, if in perfect ("mint") condition and with the right buyer. Pocket change is more realistic.

Beckett.com is a good website and holds almost every card.
You have to find the number on the back of the card and type that in with your search.

Don't overthink this. There are zillions of them out there in both unopened and opened form. It really doesn't make a difference. Enjoy the 22 year old gum!
