The same thing happened to me. After my first period, I didn't get another one until five months later. It is NORMAL. Your menstrual cycle doesn't become regular until around two years from the first time you have it. Relax, and be happy your not having it!!!!

This could be normal. I used to know it was coming because I'd get a little crampy a few days before. Just keep an emergency pad or tampon in a zipper compartment in your purse or in a little attache bag in your locker. If you were really crampy keep some ibuprofen on hand. It won't just come pouring out when you start again you'll notice something feels different like little extra moisture. Just as you notice a sensation if a drop of water after hits and it goes down your arm. Very similar.

I am assuming your fear isn't because you're sexually active and you're not worried that you could be pregnant you should be specific if that's the case the advice will be different.

It takes a few years to get into the "28 day" system. Sometimes it's more than 28, sometimes it's less. It depends on the person. Not saying you'll have to wait over 40 days every time. I'd say take a pad or tampon to school just in case, but you probably won't get it this soon. =] Gl on your first day of school.

It will take a while for your period to come in a cycle that you can keep track of example every 28 days. You might not end up getting it again for a few months. Just always make sure you have tampons/pads with you...keep them in a purse or in your backpack

It's quite normal for your period to be very irregular throughout the first year. Yes, it is a pain cuz you can't predict when it will come, but it should regulate after a little while and you will also get used to how you feel, changes in your body as it approaches.

This is normal for your first time, it can take a while before you get to be on a regular 28 day routine, and not all women have that, everyone is different.

No need to be scared, sounds normal to me. Usually takes a cpl. periods before bod regulates. Chill out and be calm cuz nerves do prolong the cycles. Good Luk. God Bless.

As long as you have no had sex and you aren't pregnant this is normal for your first periods. They don't start to become regular until a few periods in.
