Its amazing that fundamental Christianity is attacked every day by the mainstream media and Hollywood while radical Muslim fanatics, devil worship, etc are made to be normal everyday things by the same people.

Please. Christians/Muslims whining about being misrepresented is just a bunch of crap. If you want to see misrepresentation by Christians, take a good long hard look at www.godhatesamerica.com Now that's misrepresentation and it's not the only site like that. The AFA, Focus on the Family, the Traditional Values Coalition are just as bad--if not worse. And don't get me start on Battle Cry--which will be featured on the CNN broadcast. If you had listened, you would have learned the show is about extremists. All three of the Aramaic religions are full of them.
Yet another one with the persecution delusion. Religion has gotten a free pass for far too long....It's about time someone started criticizing this plague on humanity.

It's a fair question:
I've long been troubled by media depictions of Christians. Generally the AP picks up stories about "the Christian diet" or other ridiculous things like that, but will ignore reporting on topics such as Christian organizations being the first ones to respond to hurricane victims with food/supplies, etc.
It's like the media just relishes in falsely depicting the majority of believers, and this is very unfortunate.

There are some people who don't want a "free pass." They are ignored, but would love to be controversial and criticized so they would be able to get their message heard.
In general, those who don't fit the media's perceptions get ignored. It doesn't matter if they are religious or not. For example consumers of the "major media" may have never heard of :

There is absolutely nothing wrong with religion as long as you do not become willing to KILL over it.

If you paid attention to the context of the series it's about EXTREMEISTS so of course those are going to be the representative samples Ernie boy and on the subsequent nights they'll show nut jobs from other religions as well, it's not meant to represent the mainstream so get a grip and as far as atheists we're so few why do you worry about us

CNN hates Christians and Christian ideals. We all know this anyone who watches it can see it plain as day. The, unfortunately are not the only news outlet that feels this way.

Hey, just be glad they didn't use the "Reverands" Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton to represent Christians.
