An extra stylus or two is always a good idea.

But the first thing you really should get are SCREEN PROTECTORS!

These will extend the life of your DS a great deal, espetially your touch screen, by preventing you from scratching you screen. You need to get them BEFORE scratching your screen. They are usually available cheap wherever you get your DS and many come with an extra stylus.

Lots of people recommend a carrying case, and its peobably a pretty good idea if you go out and about with your DS. It will protect it from bumps and shocks, and help protect.

Other than that, I can't think of anything that stands out. Good luck, and enjoy your new system!

The only thing I got for my DS is an awesome case that looks just like a DS. It was really cool, it came with a car charger, and a stylus that can extend. It was $20, and I found it at Target.

get a screen protector. You'll be happy you got one (it prevents scratches and stuff). Get one of those travel cases. It should come with a car charger and you can put your DS in it along with your games. It'll cost about $20. The screen protectors you can find at EB Games or Gamestop. I think they're less than $5.
