Really but if you like them both then, It really isn't our decision.

You have good taste -- either would be a good choice, but I must admit I lean toward Callista.
On the other hand, take into consideration how many Clarissa or Callista are in your child's age range, or geographic area. Do you/your child want to have a name that everyone/no one else has? Callista I am sure will enjoy some popularity because of Ally McBeal, but do you (or your daughter) want to be remembered because of a sit-com in the '90's? Things that sound "cool and classy" now often end up as the butt of jokes later on. Unfortunately, with names, this can happen regardless of your very best efforts. Like one of the other answers said choose a name that has meaning for both you and your child. Also, if you have a good story attached to it, that will make it extra special to the child -- she will have a great anecdote to tell other for years to come.

Callista Elaine! It's just so pretty! Clarissa reminds me of that old '90s show 'Clarissa Explains It All' and I hated that show lol.
