the song "cant take my eyes off of you"--is it a song boyfriends/girlfriends would listen to together or is it a song about a crush or a song about someone wishing he/she was with a certain someone they wish they could have? whats your intepretation?

I think it's boyfriend/girlfriend, but a new relationship. The singer seems to be close enough to share feelings, but has not yet "touched."

Great question! I LOVE that song and had never thought about that.

I interpret the song as a man telling his woman how he feels about her. That is what the words are saying to me.

Are you talking about Damien Rice's "The Blowers Daughter?"

If so, that song is about a clarinet teacher he once had and how he loved her so much but never told her about it ("I cant take my eyes off of you, I cant tale my mind off of you...")

Its a very beautiful song, even if it's not the one you're talking about...

I THINK you are talking about the original, the one by Frankie Valley and the For Seasons. I think it is a man telling a girl how much he wants to be more to her than he is.
