In the past year, he's been on four different teams! (Marlins, Phillies, Reds, Mets.) At this point he just seems like an object to be passed around and help a team inch forward. Your thoughts?

Sorry, I meant the Orioles, not the Marlins.

Not nearly as many times as Kenny Lofton. That guy could open a sporting goods store with all his uniforms.

this is his team record

1990-1992- Royals
1993-1997- Marlins
1998- Royals
1999-2003- Orioles
2003-2005- Marlins
2006- Orioles
2006- Phillies
2007- Reds
2007- Mets

He may not be traded too many more times because of the fact that he is 41. But the Mets could keep him. Who knows.

Maybe he should go back to the Royals, Marlins or Orioles again.

Lets remember that the Mets had the ageless wonder, Julio Franco. In the Mets case, they need another outfielder because of hte injuries to Endy Chavez and the uncertainty of Moises Alou and now Marlon Anderson hurt again. If they had made this deal in September, Conine would not be eligible for post season.

Conine has had a good career, he may not have been an all-star in the game, but he has two world series rings, he got to play along side Cal Ripken Jr, and as of today he is still playing. Yeah he's bounced around a bit, but he's had a pretty good gig if you ask me. He was good enough to have a career in MLB, and was lucky enough to contribute to two world series championship teams.

Conan has said he's retiring after 2007 no matter what, so if he's going to wear another uniform, the Mets had better move him quickly.
