I did that once...notice the once.
You will have soap suds everywhere if you do. Run to the store and pick some dishwasher soap or fill the sink and start scrubbing.

No, don't do it...I tried this once, a very long time ago. You'll have soap coming out of the dishwasher, and going everywhere...It'd be easier in the long run, and much less a mess, for you to start doing them by hand. If indeed you do try to wash in dishwasher, you'll be wasting a lot of time trying to clean up the mess that will be made.

I can tell you from personal experience that dish soap foams and dishwashing detergent does not. If you put in too much dish soap it WILL froth out all over the floor and under the machine. I don't know if a couple of drops will cause any problem or not. I wouldn't do it.

It is possible as long as you use a small amount. Regular dishwashing liquid will suds up more than the stuff made for dishwashers. If there is soap residue, just run another rinse cycle.

I answered you in polls & surveys too but so many people said NO. Honestly this did happen to me last week & I actually did 2 loads of dishes in the dishwasher but ONLY used 2 small drops of liquid dish soap. It worked out just fine. But make sure they are small drops.

DON'T EVEN TRY IT, I DID ONCE JUST TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED, WHEN I WENT INTO THE KITCHEN LATER, THERE WAS ABOUT A FOOT OF SUDS ALL OVER THE KITCHEN FLOOR. GO GET SOME DISHWASHER SOAP FOR DISHWASHERS.

if you put regular dish soap in there you will have bubbles coming out of everywhere on your dishwasher. my aunt did it and we spent 4 hours cleaning up the floors. it will just flood out of there and get everything soaked. for some reason it foams up really bad in there and screws with the machine. her's was never the same after she did that.

most houses come with a kitchen sink. if you put a stopper in it and a spoon full of joy. fill with some hot water. get a dish rag and wash them by hand. a lot of older houses don't even have a dish washer so this is how they get there dishes done.

I would not use the dish detergent in the dishwasher it makes too much of a mess. use bleach instead, the bleach will clean and sanitize your dishes.
