To get a bra that's actually fits you? How do you measure your chest? How should the bra fit? Like the cup should be tight across the chest or the band?

Measure around your chest under your breasts. Round up and add four if its an even number and five if its an odd number. That is your band size.

Measure around your breasts across the nipples at the widest part. Subtract band size from this measurement and the difference will be the cup.

1" is an A, 2" is a B, 3" is a C.

OR, go get sized at Nordstroms, JCPenney's, or Sears (NOT victoria secret as I've heard very negative reviews and experienced their LACK of how to correctly size someone).

Most department stores and lingerie stores will do accurate measurements for you. But, to do it at home, measure (with a measuring tape) your chest just underneath your breasts. This number will be the 34 or 36 or whatever in the bra size. Then measure around your chest at your nipples. If it's 1 inch more than the first measurement, that's an A cup. If it's 2 inches more, it's a B cup, and so on. I might be wrong about the increments, but you can find that in catalogs or online somewhere. Hope this helps.
