When they both first entered the league. Since Kobe jumped from high school, not many people knew about him. Thomas on the other hand was a highly recruited player coming out of Villanova. Now, Thomas isn't considered a bust. He played a big role for the Suns last year in the playoffs. Now, Bryant has the upper hand.

Depends who you ask. I never considered him better some people said Kobe was the next Jordan before he was even drafted and some people didn't think he was. I personally thought he was before he got drafted and thougtht teams passing on him were retarded. You could tell he was great even in HS from his footwork. The only reason he was picked 13 and Garnett wasn't a year earlier was because he wasn't a big man which seemed retarded to me since the greatest player up to that point was 6'6. But as far as your question no I think Kobe got way more press when he was drafted then Thomas and who cares what college scouts say Kobe won his HS State Championship you can't do anything more on the HS Level. And Kobe was playing for LA as a rookie and was allowed to take the last shot in the playoffs as a rookie, he had a contract with Adidas, he took Brandy to the Prom. How does anyone figure Thomas got more attention? Even ESPN had tons of Kobe highlights as a Rookie.

First you are the sole one thinking that, 2nd if I had to apply the comparable mentality of "if" if this if that then Kobe could be the main suitable participant ever, what if he did not Shaq? do you already know what number greater factors he might have scored is his occupation, Iverson became the sole massive call for the sixers he's not this sort of participant that can in high-quality condition right into a set, group's have been given to in high-quality condition around him, he could not even win a playoff sequence in Denver with Melo. protection enable's communicate approximately it preferable in scouse borrow does not recommend you're super defender, Wade, Lebron and so on have super stats steals sensible yet there're not a million/2 the defender Kobe is, Iverson shouldn't additionally be in that communique, he in no way locked every physique down like Kobe has over the years, I recommend he's a 9 circumstances all NBA protective group yet you won't be able to admit he's super, BTW this became voted by skill of journalist from around the country. Dude provide up it!

i would say no because early in their career Tim WAS a better outside shooter, but Kobe was like d-wade that can hit the outside shot but his strength was to finish around the basket and mid-range shot. then when their carrers progressed kobe developed an outside game and a defense. tim still olny had an outside game.
