Is it legal to find a contract for a service online and amend to apply to a service I will provide?

I want to start renting something out and found... for example a contract online someone uses to rent out silverware. Can I change the state mentioned and so on to apply to my little beginning business or is that illegal?

I don't think its illegal to copy their wording. But if they are in a different state or different industry, you may need a lawyer to be sure that the wording is appropriate for your usage.
