Does a switch-blade comb count? Those were really popular when I was a kid. Anyone carrying anything more than a small pocket-knife was thought to be a hoodlum and even the pocket-knives would be onfiscated if saw by a teacher. And no, you didn't get them back.

Hell no! What we would've considered a "weapon" in my day (I'm 39) would have been a pee shooter...which basically meant, blowing paper through a pen out at someone.
I'm so glad for the era I grew up in.
