Flower, what flower would I be, and would you clip me and put me in a vase on your table, or just leave me in your garden?

Could you be a lilac? I love lilacs! Since I don't have space for a garden, not even a lilac bush, I would have to steal you from someone else's garden and I'd put most of you in a vase, but a little in my hair so I could smell lilacs all the time.
But I'm really NOT kinky like that. I just love lilacs.

You would be a long stem, American Beauty rose and I would pluck you and put you in a vase on my table but I would thank you for giving up your life in the garden so that I can appreciate your beauty and wonderful scent....
