Where was the laparoscopy done>? That makes a difference. If you're talking abdominal laparoscopy, then the patient would probably be most comfortable in a semi-reclined position, facing up.

yea i had it done, and youcan sleep upright...but no matter what position you sleep in its still extremely uncomfortable, and im sorry u have to go through that:(
