I transplanted my ficus about a week ago and now the leaves, especially the inner leaves are turning yellow and falling off. I think it could be because I gave it to much water (4 cups) when I transplanted it to pack down the soil abit, but I don't know. It's been 9 days and the soil still feels slightly moist. Is there anything I can do?

Ficus ALWAYS does this when transplanted. Water a bit when it needs it and be patient. It will grow new leaves and be pretty again, but it takes time. Don't water again until again it's dried out a bit.

make sure the water can drain out of that new pot!.. it does have holes for drainage, right?.... poke a stick into the holes to make sure they're not blocked.... then put the tree back where it was before it was repotted and wait....it may drop more leaves, still.... but it will recover....
