What is the 'spirit' according to the true evidence, is it myth or true?

A Spirit is your Soul so if you have no Spirit you have no Soul

A Spirit which is a Soul the Etheric body that we use to Astral Travel so when we pass over that is what leaves the body.

It is understood as a sort of life force body or aura that constitutes the "blueprint" of the physical body, and which sustains the physical body. “Also known as our Aura”

Some people don't pass over because of unfinished business
Or they just don't know they have died
Or they didn't know to go to the light
This is what people call a Ghost
I call Spirit they may just be a Lost Soul
These are then Earth bound Spirits you may call Ghosts
Or sometimes family members that have past over come back to heal you when you are ill or just pop in to see how things are going in your life : )

Do you also know that people that Astral Travel are seen as ghost, so maybe people are seeing ghost maybe are just living people just exploring via Astral travelling : )

MYTH:
Once the idea of a soul was dreamed up by the thinkers of the time (which it was by the way) many theories developed about where it was in the body. The only time scientist and doctors where able to see inside the human body was when a body was dead, so obviously they weren't going to find a soul in their. So they looked for where it might be. As science and our understanding of the human body developed, the location of the soul kept changing and eventually moved to the brain. Nowadays, although the exact processes of the brain are still unclear, we know that there is no place for a soul to hide. We also know that when certain parts of the brain are damaged, certain key things are lost. Obvious ones are the use of your legs, but not so well known are the loss of complete parts of your personality (surely the soul itself). When certain parts of the brain are damaged, people have lost the ability to recognize faces, the ability to speak, lost years, even decades of their memories, the ability to understand facial expressions, language, colour, sound, emotion, concepts of rescue, help, love, humor, hate, sadness, loss, grief, in fact everything conceivable about a human beings mind can be located to a part of the flesh and blood brain and removed. This isn't speculation or science fiction this is FACT.

So, when you die, even if there is an invisible soul that leaves our dead bodies and flies off to heaven, that soul leaves without any memories of your life, your loves, your hates, your passions, your grievances. Without any of the things you learned, the hard lessons, the cacophony of knowledge, the interesting little facts, the big dreams and ideas. That soul is for all intents and purposes not even you. YOU, are all of those things that the brain stores and develops throughout your life and when your brain dies, with or without a soul YOU die too.

So, there might be a soul, but I can assure you it leaves without you.
