I have catalogs on world coins that go back to 1601. I would need good scans or photo's to help you. I can give you U.S. book values. Without seeing the coins one way or another no one can help.

first of all, i have to correct your spelling, sorry, it's in my genes. I'm guessing you mean contact with coin collectors, ancient coins, and possess. and state. but, i don't know where to find them, do a google search. that should help
