I am used to being alone, though it is not something that I like or desire.
it is not torture either, it is what it is and I make the best of it.
I have never done the bar scene, hung out in clubs or anything like that.
Once married, now divorced for 17+ years and I prefer peace to strife
I can't say I enjoy being single as I like to do things with someone, I want to cuddle with someone and be with them for life, just unlucky in that regard I suppose.
funny thing, I have been in combat in iraq, and it was peferable to a bad marriage, combat ends at some point and your either alive or not, but a bad marriage is a living hell.
geez and people don't believe in that place

For the most part I really enjoy single life but I would like a little companionship. He has his place and I have mine. I used to really really want somebody in my life but my friend from Iceland came to visit for 2 weeks recently and we slept in the same bed and he was breathing too loud and I couldn't get any sleep so that's when I decided maybe I want to really be single.

no set time for meals-when I am straved outta mind-eat,
no kids-already grown & gone,
No hubby-got rid of that bas tard long ago,
dates whenever & if I feel the need-occsionally just to roll in the hay,
I do whatever turns my crank & makes me a happy camper.

Actually I have a girlfriend right now, and it's not QUITE as exciting as life was single, but that's not degrading having a girlfriend in any way.

it was fun for awhile but im ready for a man now. bar hopping and club skipping is getting really old. the dates were cute for a little bit but im ready to go on consecutive dates with the same person. get to know them build sumthing worthwhile.
