My Germand shepard just sits at the door, but the weenie dog is the one that will bounce all over you and really make you get out of bed!

Sure. From 1953 to 1956 it was Minnie. From late 1956 to 1961 it was Otto and from 1963 to 1974 it was Max. All good weenie dogs that LOVED to wake you up.

No I don't have a weenie dog,got the weenie..got 3 cats,but only the white one (Drit) sleeps with me...she wakes me up when the birds start singing,time to go hunting....

N, never had a weenie dog. My Lab. gets me up and out pronto, unless I want to wash the kitchen floor a g a i n .

mine wakes me up by licking my ear every morning. My guess it that he has a smaller bladder than your German Sheppard and needs to go outside in the morning BAD. I know "dexter" my weenie can hardly hold it in the AM.

My old girl Molly would set her head on the edge of the bed and stare at me until I woke up. Sometimes I would play at sleeping to see how long she would stare. I lost everytime.
