There should be no problem. You can remove and replace the same cartridge and it doesn't matter how much ink is in the cartridge. (i Know it not ink but...) Make sure that the security tape is off the cartridge and then run the head cleaning utility. That should do it for you;.

Yes you may unwittingly reset the chip causing the cartridge to register as empty. And having an epson you know what happens when you have an empty cartridge.
Keep running the cleaning utility built into the printer. The head is in the printer, not on the cartridge.

Yes, it will not work unless you also know how to reset the cartridge so the printer reads it as a new one. Epsons do not accept a reloaded cartridge gracefully.

After you put it back in, be sure to go through the alignment process. The printer should detect the current ink level.

none except be careful with the pins. our supplier's technician taught us the right way to remove the cartridge from the printer - it is a balancing act.
