Acutally you have to be deemed below 150% of the poverty level for your area. Your best bet is to call the school and apply, worst case senerio you don't get it and you wasted 15 minutes.

only if you qualify...you will recieve an application at the beginning of the year, or you can call ahead of time and get one, it will have the income requirements that you have to meet to qualify for reduced or free lunces.
