Some wear pants, my aunty wore pants to her wedding.

She can wear pants, or an imformal dress. It depends where your having the wedding and how many people that you are inviting to your wedding. Because if your having it on the beach, the apparal can be casual. But in a church with lots of people, you'll need something more formal.

Most wear dresses, but it is permissable to wear pants and some brides do wear them.

Or if your really cool you go to an island and you get married nude. Note: This is mainly carried out by old and wrinkly people, caution is advised.
Pants and dresses are both acceptable, the dress is of course more mainstream.

I haven't ever seen one wear pants, I spose she could wear a really nice trouser suit if it was like a registry office wedding or something like that.

IDK i mean it's you decision so you could wear pants and a short dress!!I think those together are so cute try wearing it 1 day please you might like it but i prefer a skirt long/short you chose and wear a long sleeved shirt also very cute!!!
