If you follow the eye of the hurricane in a car or something does that mean it'll always be sunny and calm since it looks like there is no cloud cover over the eye.

Yes, if you can stay in the eye, you will have calm weather... at least until the storm deteriorates and the wind speed of the hurricane drops to around 80 mph (fast!!) - then the eye disappears, therefore you can't plop yourself in the eye and stay there without experiencing the storm unless you can drop your car/boat in using a plane... Fun thought experiment.
By the way, re: the answer above: The eye of the hurricane moves quite slowly and you can definately keep up with it in a car!

I am not sure but that would be both extremely difficult and dangerous since hurricanes do not follow roads. The entire eye might end up being over a huge lake or a dense forest or a swamp or some place where you can't really drive and then you'd be trapped in the middle of a hurricane in you car, which is suddenly not nearly as secure and safe as you thought.

That depends on how developed the eye is in the storm, If the eye is ill deformed, you will get rain, but not lots of wind. A well developed eye, such as the one in hurricane Dean can provide nice weather. with some clouds and very little wind. It also depends on how strong the storm is.

The eye of the hurricane is the dead center of the hurricane itself. Surprisingly the hurricane storms wind on the OUTER sides of it. The inside is calm as a normal day with houses flying around :)

you have to be quck and a ace driver but if was possible to stay within the eye you would experience calm while all around you will be chaos
