You can't. You can manipulate the situation but he will end up not liking you because of it. You can't change anyone except for yourself. Move on and find someone more suited to what you want in a man. You are well worth it. And there are millions of guys out there that you won't feel like you have to change. Happy hunting.

The only way i see it is if you go to Church.
Believe in Jesus and God.

Read Mark and that will help you to believe in Jesus.

Stay on the right path and don't stray.

Become relaxed and laid back and laugh at the world instead of taking it too seriously.

You are not important remember that.....

too many people think the world revolves around them.....

Just have a good time and don't think too much.

And don't do illegal substances like the gent says before.

Plenty of sex and football.

Fortunately we were not put on earth to change another human being. People chose their actions and their behavior is not something we agree with, then it's best to move on. I wish I knew the statistics on women who think they will change a man. Only he can change himself...and if he doesn't want to, he'll remain the person he is. I suggest you look for someone who treats you well and has respect for himself and you. Good luck!

It depends on what you mean by bad. I mean how bad is he? If he is doing bad things but he is a good person (I had one of those), it is possible for you to make him aware of his behavior and he may want to change (it may require outside/professional help) but not without testing your patience and most likely hurting you or drag you through unbelievable amount of frustration....but still, he has to want to change and there is a possibility of happy ending.

If he is a bad person (I've been with a few before), there really is no changing him without years of heartache and serious professional help but honestly, I wouldn't stick around and waste my precious days with a person like this. They can seriously bring you down with them.

If you want to change him then you don't love him for what he is. Accept there's no way he's going to change. The only way that people really change is through lots of psychotherapy and a lot of work and because THEY want to. Even then, they can lapse - a bit like an alcoholic falling off the wagon. Even if they don't drink for 20 years, they will ALWAYS be an alcoholic.

If you try to change the ways of a person to fit your own needs, you are essentially destroying a relationship building block that is needed for healthy communication. Wanting someone to change for the betterment of another simple put - won't make one any happier.

A person needs to choose to change. The have to want it.
