There is no reason for gvmt to regulate marriage. We should be free to associate with whomever we choose. Marriage is a specific type of association.
If we choose to marry in a church or nakid in front of a tree in an old growth forest,, the gvmt should recognize our wishes.
If we choose to marry or life together, the gvmt should recognize our desires.
There is no reason for the gvmt to be involved in anyones personal relationships, and there is no reason for gvmt to give some associations specific benefits and perks.
It is our job as individuals to have our wills, living wills, durable power of attorney written so we don't ask the courts to make our decisions for us.

NOT TO OFFEND ANYONE ... I can honestly say I don't support it. Yet, I have friends that are in gay marriages and heck, I'm part of the family.
I have been in the life (and I think everyone knows what that means) for a very long time, and I have made my choice not to marry a female but a guy. (thru a lot of prayer)
I'm cool with the situation, I just don't personally support it, for biblical reasons ... ~wink~

Yes! I support the marriage of any two people that love each other enough to make this commitment. Dating is liking each other. Living together is loving each other. But marriage means you want to spend the rest of your life with this person...man or woman. I love my partner and would marry her in a minute if allowed to legally.

I support same sex marriage. But you are asking your question in the wrong forum since most of the people who are in here are gay or gay friendly. Perhaps this question would be better asked in another area. Maybe religion would be ok.

I support gay marriage - with all the legal benefits- as long as it is legal thru out the us, not ok in one state but legal in another. That's separate but equal. yeah right, unequal.
I was in a relationship where some of the legal benefits would have saved my partner from pain & suffering while we waited for her mother to fly in and sign papers for emergency care at the hospital. As I did not have the benefit of being her spouse, I could not authorize care and she almost bled to death.
i do not see the US passing a federal gay marriage bill until we separate the DAMN church from the government.

Yes I do support gay and lesbian marriages and soon the rest of the country will have no other choice but to accept it too. So too bad for all of you who don't.

Yes I support gay marriage if two people love each other and are dedicated to one another and want to spend the rest of their lives together and are allowed to get married and the laws recognise their union and support them than why not have gay marriage?

yes, I support gay marriages. Just as much as I support a straight marriage, if you love someone it doesn't matter sex, color or race or religion, all that matters is the love the two of you share.

I support it, but i think that you are not getting an equal sided poll here...you are asking this question in the LGBT section...of course most of your answers will be YES...try polls and surveys..i bet it will turn out 50/50 in that section..
