Katya and Katja are definently Russian.
Katia might be Irish.
I personally prefer Katya. A little girl I know is named Katya. Shes 100% Russian and she pronounces her name:
KAT-ch-ya.
The names Katie and Katy you can just have fun with the spelling:
Katie
Katy
Kaite
Katee
Katey
Kadie
Kady
Cady
Cadie
Cadee
Caite
I think the name Anoushka is a beautiful name. I don't think it will sound too Eastern European. They have beautiful names and putting them together is so cute. But some other middle names are:
Nichole
Chantelle
Gerard
Francesca
Alisha
Kristen (Kristin)
Michelle
Elyse
Noelle
Baroness
Santina
Madeline
Felicity
Melissa
Rosario (Rosaria)
Mercedes
Delphia
Lillian
Antoinette
Nikolette (or Nike)
Lynn
Jade
Rose
Anna
Lauren
Juli
Mary
Jean

Katia is Spanish
Katja is Greek
Katya is Greek
Those are the origins...Katya is typical of Eastern Europe (Russians, etc.)
Katja I see more Polish type areas
Katia...hardly see it
And yes, Katya Anoushka is extremely Slavic.

Katia, Katya, and Katja are all diminutives of the name Ekaterina or Yekaterina which is the Russian/Eastern Russian version of the name Katherine. The spelling should reflect how you prefer people to pronounce the name, as foreign names result in children and adults pronouncing it incorrectly. If you want an exotic name, you should try to come up with one yourself. Anoushka on the other hand is more of an Indian name. Karina is pretty, and sounds similar to the other K names.

I like Katja.
I like it because a Katia may be called Katie and i think a j looks nicer than a y.

Pick Katia, I think it's the best form of spelling it (even though the three sound the same). And yes, you're right, Katia Anoushka sounds too Russian. So...I'd go for just Katia

Well I'm german so Katya to me doesn't sound odd (and I happen to like it), but having kids of my own now I would probably stear away from it only because I wouldn't want them to be outed by other kids at school. (my cousin was named Anya and she always got 'onion' at school but if she was still in germany it wouldn't have been an issue).
Kate or Katie is still a gorgeous name but what about other derivitives like
Katalina
Katania
Katarina
Katelyn
Katherine
Katrina
These could always be give the pet name 'Katie'
Katie/Katey/Katy/Kate are greek according to babynamesworld.com
On another tangent I also like Tara, Tayla, Chloe, Chelsea, Leah and Eliza if that helps!
Good luck

There are many different spellings you can use for Katie.
I don't really like Anoushka. What about giving her your first name for a middle name, or using someone in the familys first name for a middle name--ie your mom, significant others mom.
Good luck!
