BB's Topps Traded 1986 Rookie card about $10. His Topps 1987 Rookie honors card about $3. I remember when McGwire broke the record, his rookie card was fetching over $100. Of course that was before the steroid headlines.

I doubt it's worth $47.99. They can try to sell it for that, but the appraised value is much lower, for sure. The steroids controversy is only one problem. Also, people started collecting cards seriously by the time he was a rookie and lots of people would go out and buy a whole set to keep in mint condition forever. Too much supply. When it was a fun pastime and most kids bought a few cards during summer and played and traded them and used them the way they were meant to be, the few good ones for big time players that made it through in mint condition by some freak accident were worth millions. That will never happen again, now that it is an oversaturated industry.
It probably cost

I wouldn't give a wooden nickle for a druggie card. OOPS ! I would so ,I could burn it along with Clemens and Strawberry's. But you must remember I'm from the old school of fans ,which requires ball players have integrity . Bonds is a.. J O K E !

Bonds have become somewhat of a pariah, so his stuff is worth considerably less than that of someone who is popular. My guess, no more than $10 dollars in mint condition.

Like any baseball card, it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Hold on to it and who knows when you are old and have nothing else you can give it to your grandson who will appreciate more than anyone.

Beckett Baseball Card Monthly is awesome for this kind of info. You can even send them a card for appraisal.

I suggest you try to sell it now before he gets convicted of steroids and all of his records are destroyed.
