I am sorry for your worry. I read your long explanation and it is your truth. I respect that but you do not have as much power as you believe yourself to have or more people would be drawn to your ' enlightenment ' like moths at night are drawn to lights. Also you would feel more peace and harmony about the conditions you see in the world. Acceptance is part of understanding. Humans keep reincarnating until they learn where they return to and choose better the next time. Simplicity is what makes the lesson so wonderful and beautiful. i think we do distance ourselves from our spirit, and live more "in the body" rather then thinking of ourselves as a combination, of mind , body, spirit. yes, our minds are capable of doing much more then we usually think they can, this is partly due to the society we grow up in, what we are taught etc.
while called supernatural, gifts and abilities are often a natural part of a person, mind gifts i mean, just as some are gifted physically, and others can develop a basic ability if they apply themselves

for example, some are born with a gift for music, and can play say the piano naturally and very well

but we as a society dont say, everyone can play the piano

to sum up, there are mind abilities, i dont think they should be used or can be , for mind control of others, but who knows,
