hou should I do preparation for selecting in iit.?

i mean what should I read and how much hours should I do preparations per week please send me answer sincearly.

first do your swot analysis means your strengths your weakness , opportunities you have and threats you have . i want to say that first of all you should know that in which subject you have better knowledge. in a management aptitude test there are mainly maths general knowledge and english and reasoning exists . first identify that which subject you know well . concentrate on the same first .i am a mba student in apj college jalandhar punjab. i have used the same technique and gained 706th rank in cet test . try to improve the subjects in which you have weakness. like maths or reasoning . i suggest you to buy a s chands arthmatics book for maths and any expert's book for reasoning for general knowledge do read newspapers and other journals like csr.if you have a computer do make use of that make list of every topic of general knowledge as you come to know it eg. list of books and their writers. make a covenient shedule for studies pay attention on not more than two subjects at one time.make pair of subjects eg. eng&maths rest is upto you how you take . if you have any doubt my id is [e-mail]

According to me just reading for about 2to5 hours a day and noting down important formulae and diagrams and graphs seperately in a paper or note will definetly produce better results

regarding books you can have brilliant tutorilas and your college books.

Better have a group study.Always recall the things studied in the week at the weekend

info provided by you is inadequate to advise you one way or the other.
if you are in X start gathering info from now on and enroll by summer 2008 in a good coaching classes
in you are in XI better hurry, may be you would evaluate yourself or by an expert.
if you are in XII then you might have just missed one of the two chances that one gets.may be you will have to take a drop and go for intensive coaching.
all the above are for normal students.if you are brilliant beyond compare nothing said above applies.
finally coaching classes can do so much only so much that is polish,can not convert Cu to Au.
