just go with me for a sec ok.. he go's to a school for wizards and they don't teach math, english, gym or any of the normal things that a kid has to learn in this world and all he has to learn is a few spells and potions. think about it the kid can't add or read right.

Who says he doesn't have those classes? And he did go to muggle school prior to going to Hogwarts. He does have history, and other classes. and as far as i can tell, he's a pretty good reader.
Perhaps there's a class we don't know about where they just download all muggle studies via Occlumency, or something like that.

He went to a Muggle school before he went to Hogwarts. Dudley was even his schoolmate, until they transfered Dudley to Smeltings and Harry entered Hogwarts.

That's true and based on his actions in the book series it shows. He is interesting to read about, but only because it is so amazing that he has made it this far, being so dull.
