no study has shown this that i am aware of. the biggest issue for cyclists seems to be damaging the nerves and causing erection and sensation issues. i would say if you are going numb while riding you should be worried. as for the prostate, at this point there is just no data out there linking the two that i can find. i have often wondered the same thing, and i have looked, but there are a lot of things that have just never been studied or are hard to pinpoint. if a cyclist developes prostate problems is it the cycling, or would have have developed them anyway due to genetics? it is hard to come up with a study that can draw that line.

It could--especially if you have an enlarged prostate. Bicyle riding can result in bladder infections as a result of it's impact on the prostate gland. I started riding my bike intensly last year and I've already had a bladder infection twice. Try a more comfortable saddle. And try these (click the links for more information):

Actually it can lead to sterilization in extreme cases
most bicycle seat's designs cut off blood supply to that general area.
Get a bike seat with a cut out in the middle to relieve pressure and you'll be ok.
