Wilt and Russell would swat the ball and probably Carter's head into the 5th row if he tried to dunk on them!

Old school centers would not try and draw a charge that's for sure. Everybody went "ooohhhhh" when Vince dunked on that foreign guy in the Olympics but c'mon, he stood still. That was weak. Jump and show some heart! You might block it! Kareem might've gotten posterized but not Stoudemire. He blocked Tim Duncan's dunk and the ball was in the rim before as he rejected it. Dirk, yeah, easy facial. I can see him throwing his mouthpiece to the floor in disgust and kicking a poor, defense-less stationary bike. Yao, that would tough but Kobe got 'em pretty good. Shaq wouldn't allow it. Nuff said!!! Odom, easy target. KG, yeah I could see it happening but it wouldn't be easy. It's all about timing.

Yes. The big man is often at a disadvantaged when they get dunked on. The are standing under that basket actually playing defense on some one else. So when Vince gets around his man on the perimeter he usually has 2 or 3 hard dribbles in order to pick up momentum. The big man has to slide of off the person he's guarding and go straight up off of 2 feet and try to stop Vince Carter coming full speed at him. In all honestly, when you are some one like Vince, Kobe, Lebron and Jordan, you are suppose to posterize a big man for trying to block it. The best shot blockers in the world, get dunked on all the time but they don't give up and eventually they get some.

I don't think that he could. However, Michael Jordan did dunk over most of the best centers in history, including every center he ever played against.
And to the idiot who said that no one has ever dunked on Shaq, Jordan dunked on Shaq several times in NBA games.

he could dunk on every great center except:
Chamberlain- he had a 51 inch vertical at 7'2, he was jumping higher than vince does and he's 7 inches taller.
Bill russell- one of the best shot blockers ever
Shaq- nobody has done it in a game

he's one of the best dunkers of all time (top 5). but i dont think he can dunk on american centers. the french dude that he dunked on was trained in a different environment. i dont think carter is able to dunk over the best centers in the NBA.

I think anyone of those guys could get posterized by Vince.
The only guy that I think might be a problem would be Ben Wallace.

Well, he's dunked over Shaq and 'Zo. The only players that would be more impressive to posterize would be Chamberlain and Russell, and we know that's not happening.
