I have seen several mission bracelets made of 550 cord that soldiers wear who have served in Iraq and other places. They are hand made out of different colors of 550 cord. Most have a coin as the center piece. I would like to make them but don/t know how.

Here is one set of instructions:

Different address, same photos:

Different instructions, same man?:

On this page there is an other set, about ten posts down:

Different pictures of the knots needed can be found here, the knot for the bracelet:
http://knopen.ismijnhobby.nl/tables/square_knot_table.html
And for a button at the one end:
http://knopen.ismijnhobby.nl/tables/turkshead_table.html
Make the knot with one string and double (follow) with the other.

I have not found any pictures with a coin, but if you send me a link with a good picture I write you instructions on how to make one like that.
