Some of these would you... barefoot for... are silly. A hot mall parking lot is no challenge at all in weather up to 100 degrees F, and even in over 100 degrees F it might only be necessary to occasionally walk through shade. The concert tickets would be an easy win. If I drove, it wouldn't matter if I didn't get my shoes back. If I didn't, I could still find sidewalks and shade to walk the longer distance to the nearest bus stop by the mall.

Depends how hot; I haven't built up much tolerance against heat since my climate rarely gets that hot. I'm not that much into music that I'd burn my soles for any specific singer or band, but my feet would probably be tough enough from all the regular barefooting I've been doing to stand a decent temperature. Last summer I was fine at 40C/104F, but I've never had the opportunity to try out anything hotter than that.

Absolutely. My shoes and socks would be off so fast they would break the sound barrier (even though I only ever wear flip flops). Not only do I get free tickets but I get to walk around in bare feet for the rest of the day too :-)

The running across the pavement would not bother me, but I would not want to lose a favourite pair of shoes. So, i guess it depends on which shoes I had to give up.
