i noticed the orange badge
i became a top contributer
and yeah sure i'm glad
but who decides that ? and on which standards and conditions?
are there any rules for it?

"A top contributor is someone who is knowledgeable on a certain subject" says yahoo.
It doesn't depend on the level,answer quantity or best answer quantity. It depends on the current activities and the standard of your answers.
Also it is not forever. If you you drop your standards down,the badge will disappear.

They only give it to top notch answerers like yourself, me, hassafer, webby, Aussie, Ghannouge, Chloe, Fatma, PRD, Lolita, GGG, Sylvester Junior, Silky, Ismaily, Bélier, Kumara, etc..
It's really difficult to acquire.
Yahoo also rewards you by placing your name in the top ten answerers in a category. I myself am so great, check my name here!!!
