Hi Dizzy

Yes, I'm another person to dissuade you from wanting a funnel web. They're fairly charismatic independent critters that like to go walkabout ...especially the males. I don't think they'd be happy being kept in a tank. You wouldn't really want to make a spider sad would you? If you really love spiders, try to enjoy them in their natural place or volunteer at a venom collection centre (c;

Let me get this straight You want to own the most venomous spider in the world???? One, you won't get it here Customs won't let you through. Two, If it gets loose it's a Felony punishable by Jail time. Three, It has enough toxicity in one bite to kill an elephant.... You dont have the licensing to even ask.

It is illegal to export any Australian wildlife without a permit. You could easily be arrested as you try to leave Australia and you would spend some time in gaol here before being deported. Should you get it out of the country, you still have to get it into the USA and they don't want them so you will be arested and spend some time in gaol there.

You cannot buy funnelwebs in Australia and people who try to catch them tend to get bitten.

Why would want to own something that can kill you?

Are you going to simply walk into a US airport with the spider in a jar, go up the quarantine offier and say "Hi! I got this with me. Do Ihave to declare it before going through?"Yeah, right!

Not very bright are we?

Yes, help yourself - please take all of them, we don't want them! And everything is legal in California, or so I've heard.
