Hmm well i would say because animals have in built instincts on how to survive and this is based on kknowing what to do deep down i wouldnt say they believed in god but i would say they know there purpose in life and are content with just knowing that

they don't believe in anything, i would imagine animals knowledge is only of the moment they exist in, man was given dominion over the beast of the earth, man does as it seems fit through the recall of memories that are recorded in history, where as animals only do what god chooses for them to do in their relatively short lifetime. by their very existence they are supplicating to god, it has no choice but to accept its fate accordingly, there fore it cannot sin and needs no reminding of god therefore would have no need to believe or disbelieve

Animals don't have the capacity to make a belief or to have faith just like humans do. They are not that intelligent like us or they don't have the wisdom either.
