I know my cat dreams about the kittens she had a few years ago... she gets this real serene look on her face and curls around her belly like she's snuggling her babies. If she wakes up soon after that dream, she goes running around the house looking for them. I think she really misses them and wonders what happened to them. We have a really great connection, and I can sense sometimes when she is busy thinking about something. She looks after my daughter like a kitten too, and is very very gentle. People don't give animals enough credit. I truly believe every creature has a spirit and is put on this Earth for a reason.

I read about a Jaguar that a wildlife specialist had been following since birth... the jag killed a baboon (I think it was, may have been another kind of monkey) and was getting ready to eat it when she noticed the baby still being held in the mother's arms. The baby reached out and touched the jag and she responded by tenderly grooming the young baboon. Unfortunately, she didn't have any milk, so the baby eventually died from exposure and lack of mothers milk, but the jag stayed with the baby and loved her until she passed away. You can't tell me that an animal doesn't have emotions, or mercy. And you can't tell me that animals are not intelligent enough to dream.

Yes, I do believe that animals dream when they sleep. I have five dogs and on occassion I will see one or two of them moving while they are sleeping. Moving as in like they were running, and then I'll hear them make some noises like they were almost growling. Took me a little while to figure it out, But they are dreaming.

Good night taco. I think my dog dreams. Sometimes she starts doing a running motion with her legs in her sleep. She lays on her side, so she doesn't go anywhere, but she looks like she might be dreaming about chasing possums.

Yup, I think they do too! My dog used to run in his sleep. Well, he would be lying there and his paws would be scrambling around like he was running. I rabbit does the same thing too!

I gotta get to dreaming too! Sweet dreams! Good night to you too!

Best wishes!
