Is there any good programs for Windows Xp that teach you to play the keyboard. Or any good books? I want to learn how to read notes, I play the keyboard by ear already but It would be dope if I knew what note i was playing by just hearing it, or just seeing the notes in my head and coming up with something

You can Google "piano lessons" and check out some of the online lesson sites, instruction books, etc. You should also look at "music theory." There is lots of good information on the net, but I think you may learn a whole lot faster if you just take lessons. It is also important to learn the correct way to play so that you don't develop any bad habits that might thwart your progress. I took lessons as a child, and then studied on my own under my father and a number of different teachers right through high school. Even as an adult (50+) now, I still am interested in learning new things about music via playing with other musicians, perusing music site forums, and reading different music theory texts. Much as I hated taking piano lesons as a kid, I sure am glad now I saw it through to the end.

Go for it!

I had a professor who started learning to play piano in her 40s. You're never too old to learn.

I would not recommend using anything other than an actual piano teacher to learn how to play the piano.

You can begin taking lessons from a teacher or an academy, believe me nothing replaces a good master's guidance.
