They spent 2 hours tonight trying to spew Bush&Co's. propaganda and trying to debunk well thought out and logical theories for what probably took place on 9/11.

I haven't checked this out but I wouldn't doubt if they were owned by Rupert Murdoch. The scary thing is that history is being rewritten by this "channel", not in the academic sense, but in urban legend sense. And that's all that may matter in the voting booth.

Why do conspiracy theorists still think they are right when they are proven wrong so many times? I dont think the History Channel would have spent two hours showing the FACTS SUPPORTED BY SCIENTIFIC PROOF, if they were wrong. It would make them look really bad. I have a conspiracy of my own. I believe that conspiracy theorists were paid by terrorists to spread lies and deception to their own people about what happened so as to cause civil uprising and cause America to self implode. Do I have proof to support that? No, apparently I dont need it to eventually become the truth. All it takes is some people that believe what I said. From there, they take a theory and turn it to the truth with no evidence to support it. Luckily most of us have enough common sense to not believe all the bs that theorists like to spread, do our own research and find that theorists are people that like to live in ignorance while the rest of us are living in the real world. You cant support a bogus theory with youtube videos and Anti Bush/Iraq war propaganda, as those again are just theories and not PROOF. You may have well thought out and logical theories (you can sometimes get them while sitting on the toilet for a while, which is where I think some of these things were thought up), but the fact still remains that they are just THEORIES unsupported by facts or proof of any kind. If theories were factual, they would be called facts. thats why they are called theories, because they are opinions unsupported by fact or proof.

In the 80s we had Liberal Bias, Rush blew the doors down in the 90s, now we have right wing bias. The facts are still there. It'll prolly go back in the left next few years as the War and Bush flounder.. But the internet will make MAINSTREAM become obsolete as we all dial in whatever we want...

I personally don't believe those theories on 9/11 because I don't believe the government is competent enough to pull them off. However, the History Channel definitely does repeat Bush's war propaganda uncritically and it also repeats the ethanol propaganda uncritically. The History Channel accepts the "mainstream" pro-big government view of history and rejects alternative views that favor freedom instead of government.

Nothing any expect says or proves to the conspiracy theorist will change their minds. If you listened to their rhetoric on the History Channel, the "editing" of their film to eliminate those items that they no longer can claim happened, or be challenged, because it has been conclusively proven that they are wrong, the use of words and the blaming of the Government. The Government is the key word. It all goes back to their hatred of Bush and the Government.

All of the media is right wing. Its all controlled by who?

Corporations!!!

Thats why all media proclaims that all media is left wing.

How many times have you heard that term used on television? Yet, no one on the right ever stopped to listen to who was telling them that.

They hear it on TV and it must be true.

Just like the idiot who said the history channel is sworn to be honest. What the F' is he smoking? Sworn to who? The advertisers? Now we know who is buying the tabloids in the super market.

The History Channel is not owned by Rupert Murdoch.

I guess they have a right wing bias because they are sworn to tel the truth.
As far as the 911 conspiracies go; there are plenty of kook websites you can go to to get all your conspiracy fantasies fulfilled. The History Channel has to deal in facts.

history doesnt care about ideology it deals in fact
fact proves liberal extremists like the pelosi/reid regime wrong as tax and spend and the ridiculous concept of cut and run are doomed to failure.
in short history repeats the obvious and hopes you learn from it.

I saw that. However, I don't consider "Loose Change" well thought out or logical. Just because they presented a view that you don't agree with does not mean it is biased.
