Kidding, here's the question...

Would you survive IF there were...

computers, but no internet.
landlines, but no cell phones.
black&white tv, but no color tv.

Having lived with all these great things [Internet, Cell Phones, and Color TV], how would you live without them?

Do you think the world would end??!

(*laughter*)
1. Computers but no Internet - been there, done that, have the T-shirt.
2. Landlines, but no cell - rarely use my cell. I don't actually NEED to be available everywhere to anyone. Trust me.
3. B&W, but no color TV - (*eyeroll*) Rarely watch TV anymore. It's such a vast wasteland that I see it as a waste of time.

Gee..maybe stupid people wouldn't try to drive and TEXT at the same time...or have to be on the cell 24x7. People would go back to READING BOOKS from the LIBRARY. And (oh no) people may actually have to start interacting and getting outside without color TV.

Oh yes, the world would certainly cease to exist.

When I got my first cell phone I couldnt believe we were ever able to live without them. Then I was without one for five years. It can be done. You just check your answering machine more often.
I remember when we only had a black and white when I was a kid back in the day(1980's)
I also have lived the horror of a computer with no internet. My life just didnt revolve around the computer as much. I guess it might take awhile to adjust but I think I could handle it.

Heck nooooooooooooooo i grew up in the 60's. Black & White telly ( no shows before 4pm and no shows after midnight). No cell phones and back then, many homes had a party line ( where you shared, the same line as someone else) meaning if they were using there phone you couldn't call out or get any in coming calls. And computers was light years away..........................P.S We all did just fine, oh yeah and back them you had to get up each time you wanted to change the channel.

OK--you got my attention!

computers but no internet - no
landlines but no cell phones - yes
black & white tv but no color - no

Even cell phones...it would be very difficult to live without them because I like that one better than the landline! :-) OK, I'm a product of this techy century.

the world wouldnt end, but i'd be rather sad, cos i'm attached to my internet, cell phone and colour tv.

and yes, i'd probably have more time to go out and do all the stuff i've been 'meaning' to do but nv got around to doing, cos of all these 3 said distractions.

The world wouldn't end and I predict three results of such a cataclysmic event:
1. Cleaner houses
2. The price of books sky rockets
3. Lots and lots of babies

Wow, if I didn't die I would want to. That is just a terrible thought. I think a lot of people would be out more and I think we would have some crazy people running around because they can't handle it

I would rather have tv but not in colour.Handphones are an important mean in communication and internet is for p&s and research.
I'd be dreadful.

I don't think the world would end, but I definitely wouldn't be able to live without all those. It'd simply be BORING. =(
