My children I would without even thinking. And my family, even my sister,who I currently have a cease fire but not a signed peace treaty with. Those are the "of course we woulds". But I would also do it for my friends, my ex-wife, and in general for any child in dire need (abused or trapped etc), even some ex-girlfriends. These are all people that I keep close to my heart. Doesn't matter how actually close we are now.
But I am not a Saint. I can also not walk through that fire for others, letting them go instead.

honestly, my bf...but i think i'd do it for any if my friends and anyone who deserves it. and if you're a little kid stuck in a flaming house, i would walk through fire to save you
