I did. I sold my new home on 12 acres of woods and moved to the city into a fixer-upper.

I would in a heart beat. I wouldn't even have to think twice about it. For everything they have done for me and put up with I think I owe them that much. I wouldn't have to move to far though because I only live 3 blocks from them now.

I am in that sort of situation but i don't what I should do! My children are already use to the area and where my parent lives is a bad area!

No I would buy them a home closer to me, and arrange for whatever care they need to be implemented immediately, or transfered to that location

i say if your house is too small than movw into a bigger house and ask your parent to move in with you so you can take care of them 24/7.

I would rent out my home, take some equity out from it and use that to put another downpayment on another home near my parents and build my wealth, too...
