My husband recently left me - I accepted it and started to move on with my life and just be me and my daughter - since then he has tried guilt and worry (attempted suicide - notes via sms) I sent police around - he told them it was just to annoy me) plus many more things - the most recent is suggesting he needs to move back in because he has nowhere else to stay - again didnt work I know his mum offered him a place to stay - so lesson is be careful what you ask for - you just might get it!

No if I already know that somebody will not come back so there is no need of making myself tired trying to get him/her back.

Yes, in my gullible, naive stage of dating when I believed that one heart-ache was the end of the world.

had to laugh at myself then decided
not to pursue the lost cause.

I've only slightly tried and it ended up being very embarrassing, so I kinda just let it go. I really believe in that old saying "you can't go home again." It's so true in many ways.

It is so very hard to let go. I keep bringing one person back even though I know it is wrong! I know he would be so much better off if we could let it go!

Yes... I new my ex wasn't coming back to me... he wasn't ready to grow up. I knew it but it still didn't stop me from trying, I think a lot of the things I did pushed him away more.

No. Once they're gone, they're gone. And if they were to come back, it would be of their own choosing. I have never tried . . .
